Mountain island seed with forest terraces for Bedrock

Start high on exposed stone and plan a terrace cabin, cliff tower or small harbor around a forested island and rocky coastline.

A narrow stone peak rises above a belt of oak and birch forest, with stepped grass slopes dropping toward rocky sea cliffs. This island gives a small base a strong setting: build into a terrace, add a lookout against the rock, and connect the lower shore with stairs.

Enter the seed

Open Play → Worlds → Create New World, then open Advanced and enter the complete number in World seed. Keep the default terrain generation with Flat world off. Turn on Show Coordinates if you want to record places as you explore.

Choose Survival to establish a base from scratch, or Creative if you mainly want to shape a base around the mountain. You can choose your preferred difficulty; it is not part of the seed number. Create the world after checking every digit. There is no map or resource pack to install.

Take the high start seriously

Our first Survival spawn was at 0, 184, 0, on exposed stone beside a steep drop. Coal and iron are visible in the nearby rock, and a long white calcite strip cuts through the mountainside.

Untouched first-person Bedrock spawn at coordinates 0, 184, 0 on a high stone ledge with coal and iron ore visible.

Our first Survival spawn at 0, 184, 0: exposed stone, visible coal and iron, and a steep drop beside the ledge.

The first priority is a controlled way down toward the tree belt. Examine the next ledges before moving, and keep each landing in view. If a narrow shelf ends, look for a broader approach instead of committing to a drop. The water far below is a landmark for orientation, not a shortcut to aim for.

Wood and a usable working ledge matter more at the start than the exposed ore. Once you reach the forest, choose a small place for a workbench and storage, then improve the access route before carrying supplies farther up the mountain.

Use the forest terraces

Close native Bedrock view of a stone peak with a white calcite strip, grassy terraces, oak trees and birch trees.

A white calcite strip crosses the bare mountainside above stepped grass ledges and oak-and-birch forest.

The lower slopes have rows of grass ledges among oak and birch trees. Look for a terrace that can hold a compact cabin, then mark the floor and doorway before clearing much ground. A doorway facing along the slope will be easier to connect to a path than one opening directly over a drop.

Keep the building narrow and let a deck extend over posts where the ground falls away. Preserve a few trees around it, and leave the calcite stripe visible as a natural landmark above the roof.

A slim cliff tower is another possible project. Put its entrance on a reachable ledge and use an internal staircase to gain height. Decide how supplies will reach the entrance before choosing the tower’s final position.

Plan a small harbor

The opposite side of the mountain island, showing stone sea cliffs, forest above, a waterfall and nearby rocky islets.

Rocky islets sit offshore, while steep coastal faces make access stairs an essential part of a future harbor plan.

The opposite view reveals more of the rocky coast and small offshore islets. Much of the shore rises sharply, so a harbor needs a landing area and a connection back to the forest.

Start with the access stairs, then add a modest dock at the water. Use short stair runs and landings that follow the rock, leaving room to pass with materials. A boat shed below a terrace cabin could connect the two levels without flattening a large part of the island.

Keep early projects compact. The peak, forest and uneven coastline already provide the structure of the place; a few well-connected buildings can make use of all three.

Start your world.
