Pick a reachable ledge, then pull toward it along a clear route. Anchorline is a fixed-anchor movement tool, so choosing the surface matters as much as aiming at it.
Reach the ledge you can actually see
Aim at solid stone, masonry, logs or planks within 16 blocks and use Anchorline. It draws you toward the selected anchor along a clear route, making short ledges and changes in height easier to approach.
Use again to cancel. A blocked route or changed anchor also ends the pull; the supplied eight seconds of Slow Falling gives you a brief landing window. This is a pull toward an anchor, not a swinging rope.
Craft it
- Anchorline: 2 × amethyst shard, 2 × copper ingot, 1 × stick.
Open the editable project below and choose Crafting Path to check each recipe’s exact arrangement.
Before you try it
- A blocked route, changed anchor, or dimension change stops the pull. It does not pass through walls.
- There is no swinging rope or passenger transport.
- Only configured surface groups can anchor; the tool does not grab every block.
Each activation costs one amethyst shard in Survival, with a three-second cooldown. Creative use is free.
Download the beta MCADDON from Files for Minecraft Bedrock 26.52. Import it and enable both the behavior and resource packs in a separate world. Start with a copy of a world you care about.
Checked on Windows in a separate test world. Other devices and live multiplayer have not been verified.
Make it yours
Reduce Anchor range to eight for a tighter traversal course. Add Dirt and natural ground only if those surfaces belong in the route you are designing.
Open Anchorline in the constructor to change the settings and build your own version. Save its editable project if you want to keep working later.
